Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

There's something very satisfying about a well-designed studio apartment. Yes, they might not be the largest spaces in the world, but they can be fantastic examples of clean, concise design. This home in the heart of Tel Aviv is one such great example. Starting from the far side, there's a kitchen with sleek surfaces and a chic breakfast bar that's larger than you might expect from an address of this size. This area blends into a lounge, before segueing into the sleeping quarters. All throughout, white walls and smart parquet flooring make the space feel bright and welcoming, while pops of colour come from house plants and mementoes dotted about the shelves. It's perfect as a modest base, especially if you're planning to be out and about exploring the city most hours of the day. The home sits on the buzzing Bograshov Street, which not only has a wealth of restaurants and bars from which to choose, but also leads down to a beach that shares the thoroughfare's name in ten minutes on foot. The Bauhaus Center is only four minutes' walk around the corner, too.

About Kerem Hateimanim

Nestled in between the Carmel Market and the beach, you'll find Kerem Hateimanim, a small neighbourhood founded by Yemeni immigrants in the 1930s. It’s come a long way since then, and today it’s been taken over by bohemian Tel-Avivians looking for affordable housing. Even though Kerem Hateimanim is in the process of being gentrified, the neighbourhood hasn’t lost the authentic, village-like feel that’s beloved by many. There are still plenty of the original Yemenite restaurants around, which are worth a visit, even if you don’t end up staying in this part of the city.
