If you're looking for a home with widescreen views, they don't get more awe-inspiring than this, folks. Perched above Nerja and just a short drive to the beach, this villa makes the most of those dazzling sea vistas from every angle, inside and out. Indoors, you'll find three bedrooms as serene as the next, with a main suite boasting knockout seascape views and direct access to the terrace. But the real star of the show here is that three-tiered infinity pool outside. Built into the dramatic rock landscapes and surrounded by so many terraces we've lost count, you could easily while away the whole day here. Drink up the panoramas from the cool, blue pools. Beat the heat under the shady verandas with cheeky siestas in the sea breeze. Then get together for sunset barbecues in the alfresco dining area, complete with a Caribbean-esque bar for those golden hour cocktails. When it's time to soak up the local culture, you're in the right place. Get off to a flying start in nearby Nerja (a five-kilometre drive) – the cobbled streets of the old town dotted with shops and tapas bars is a morning well spent. Then hit the waves for the afternoon... – the sandy shores of Playa de Vilches (a five-minute drive) are a fine place to start.
