In the picturesque village of Wolvercote, just three miles north of Oxford’s city centre, you will find this pretty Victorian conversion home that overlooks an ancient meadow land called Port Meadow, which runs along the River Thames and into Oxford. Some residents, even have ancient grazing rights to keep horses, cattle, and geese in the meadow, so keep an eye out for animals as you explore the area. Enjoy leisurely breakfasts on sunny mornings in the sun-trapped and walled rear garden with its pretty plants making it ideal for alfresco dining. We would also love nothing more than to spend some time quietly reading here too before we head out for the day. Visit the historic Oxford city centre – which can be reached in just three miles by car. Or, if you have plenty of energy, then Oxford can be reached by walking along the canal or across the meadow. Then, after a busy day, return home and cook delicious dinners in the handmade bespoke oak kitchen with its gas double oven, and dine alfresco in the courtyard garden.

Certain buildings stand out – the...
