Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Built a few years ago, this beautiful conversion may still bear some resemblance to a barn with its stone clad facade, but that’s where the similarities end. Inside you’ll find simple, clean lines and, apart from a few pops of colour, a fairly neutral colour palette. Stylish, and clearly modern, the home’s crowning glory is the wide expanse of green that can be admired from the front door. Stare out over the beautiful dips and peaks as you take your seat at the wrought-iron table outside and nurse your first cup of coffee of the day. Breakfast can also be enjoyed out here if you prefer, although the wood dining table in the living space is elegant, and with its position right next to a window, you don’t entirely lose sight of the scenic views on offer. With a real focus on reconnecting you with nature, most of the ground floor rooms open up to let the fresh country air in – take a nap on the cushy bed with the doors ajar and wake up refreshed. Walk the grounds or watch the little ones run around on the lawn whilst you enjoy a glass of wine in the lawn chair. This is also a great spot for sunsets, but before that you can drive out and explore the rural Welsh beauty of this area. Stop off at the drive-thru about ten minutes away to refuel before hiking the very whimsically-named trial of The Mountain Goat Adventures.

About Snowdonia

Mountains, lakes, wooded valleys and picture-postcard villages. We’re not in the Alps – this is Wales, and it’s as rugged and just about as exhilarating as you want it to be. Snowdonia National Park is a hiker’s paradise and home to Wales’ biggest lake and highest mountain. After you’ve tackled Snowdon (we won’t tell if you take the little train), there are countless other peaks and trails to explore, many...
