Embrace a slower pace of life, tucked into the idyllic Dyfi Valley, surrounded by the rolling hills of Northern Wales. This cottage feels like a storybook getaway, with a garden dotted with vibrant foliage and a soothing stream passing by. It's the perfect place to switch off and soak in the beauty of the great outdoors, with the vast Snowdonia National Park on your doorstep. This quaint cottage is as beautiful inside as it is on the outside, a mix of stucco walls and traditional stone brick. We love the cosy living room, with wood-beamed ceilings, a stone brick wall, and a crackling wood-burning fireplace. It's warm and inviting – the ideal place for relaxing and watching the TV after a day on your feet. It might be a traditional cottage, but the kitchen is sleek, contemporary, and big enough for everyone to pitch in to help prepare meals. While there's something comforting and familial about preparing meals together and then eating around the kitchen table, we imagine you'll also love the outdoor dining table. The garden is surrounded by luscious, beautiful greenery, where you can spend lazy mornings tucking into a continental breakfast out in the fresh air, enjoying the comforting sounds of the chirping birds and the babbles of the stream. When you're energised after a hearty breakfast, the historic market town of Machynlleth is just a twelve-minute drive away. There are endless walking trails around here, or simply explore the town's art galleries, quaint shops, cafes, pubs, museums, and more. And if you want to take a walk along the coast, you're within easy reach of North Wales' blustering beaches.
