Not much more than a five-minute drive from the popular village of Abersoch, this character cottage was once the farm's grain store and dates back to the 1800s. Set among a small group of similar homes, and close to a touring campsite, it comes with plenty of shared outdoor space and a private terrace with sea views. Just a short walk from The Warren beach and a mile from Abersoch's golden sands, it offers views across the Llŷn Peninsula and is a great base for keen walkers, cyclists and adventurers. Inside, beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls keep everything cosy and traditional, with an electric fire to keep you toasty in winter and a smart, modern kitchen with all the equipment you could need. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms make it perfect for a family or a few friends, and there's easy access to places like Caernarfon, Pwllheli, and Porthmadog.

The southern coast is ideal for families, with sandy beaches and sweet seaside towns full of indy retailers, cosy cafes and welcoming beer gardens. It’s perfect...
