Situated in the Cornish countryside, this former mill flaunts country elegance from top to toe. Inside, a creamy colour palette creates a soothing environment that’s a pleasure to relax in – especially after long rambles along nearby lanes. Spend warm mornings in your half acre garden, where there’s nothing but the sound of rustling trees, clattering plates as breakfast is dished out, and cows bellowing in the distance. Watch minnows dart in the shallows of the stream before resting with a cup of tea in the summer house. If rain threatens, retreat to the cosy living space, light the wood-burning fire and curl up with a good book on the comfy sofa. The farmhouse-chic kitchen has plenty of space for prepping lunch but if you’d prefer to eat out, Mousehole’s superb seafood restaurants are a ten-minute drive away. Explore the quaint cobbled streets and picturesque harbour before heading over to Lamorna Cove Beach for sea swims and wind-whipped walks along the South West Coast Path.

The surrounding area is known for its creativity, with many artists having lived in the nearby communities. Perhaps it’s the beautiful coastline, dramatic woodlands, or the coastal walks where clifftops seem to be blanketed in a colourful coat of yellow gorse, green ferns and purple...
