Wales is a part of the UK often overlooked in favour of popular tourist spots including Devon and Cornwall, but there's so much natural beauty to discover in this country. The Gower Penisula is a particularly stand-out destination, and this home sits amongst it like a gem of nature. Clean and modern, but with a nod to a traditional seaside holiday, this home is proudly placed on the edge of an incredible stretch of Welsh coastline. Within a five-minute walk, you can have your feet on the sand of Slade Bay – a tucked-away gem in South Wales. Spend afternoons bonding with the family here splashing around in the sea and playing games on the beach. While the close proximity of this beach is an asset you'll be spending a lot of time utilising, Gower is a beautiful area to head out and explore. There are various lovely villages here including Rhossili, along with wonderful opportunities to connect with nature. We recommend paying a visit to Gower Pick Your Own to pick fresh strawberries and raspberries. It's a great activity for the whole family and the fruit is incredibly good. You can drive here within fifteen-minutes. After your adventures in Gower's... sleepy countryside, head back home and get the fire roaring for a nice cosy evening in the lounge with a mug of hot chocolate in hand.
