This lovely family home can be found in the attractive village of Lynton, in Exmoor National Park. It’s a delightful spot on the North Devon coast, offering easy access to beaches as well as moorland and wooded hills. You’re only a six-minute drive from Blacklands Beach – make sure you bring your bucket and spade. If you want to get back to nature while still retaining ease and comfort, this is a great choice. The home is cosy and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to gather together. There’s a traditional farmhouse-style kitchen at the heart of the home, and a dining room where you can enjoy everything from hearty cooked breakfasts to set you up for a day, to fish and chips fresh from the paper after a day on the coast. You’ll also love the petite patio garden, which is filled with flowers – it’s a wonderful spot when the sun is shining. There’s even a barbecue for those lazy sunny afternoons. You’re within easy walking distance of Lynton’s independent shops and cafes here, as well as some characterful pubs. After a day spent hiking along river valleys or taking in the glorious views from the Valley of Rocks – which is a three-minute drive – is there anything better than claiming a cosy pub corner for an evening?
