For an escape to the coast with every comfort to hand, this charming bungalow perfectly fits the bill. It can be found in the thriving coastal village of Heacham, which boasts a wide bay of almost 20 miles of flat sands and calm water in a lovely bay. You’ll have two beaches to choose from, with Heacham South Beach only a five-minute drive. It’s the perfect place to try out kite surfing and windsurfing – it’s also a great spot for flying kites if that sounds a bit too energetic. The home is bright and cheerful, with a conservatory dining room that’s flooded with light from the glass patio doors. When you’re not curled up in the elegant yet comfortable living room or dining at the breakfast bar, you’ll probably be outside. The garden boasts a patio area ideal for outdoor dining – on sunny afternoons you’ll be itching to fire up the barbecue. The garden is a delicious suntrap – not overlooked by neighbours – so you can soak up the sun in peace. This home’s hidden gem is the log cabin in the garden. It’s a carpeted little haven with armchairs and a TV, and even has a desk... and wi-fi – if you need to work during your break, you might as well do it in style.
