This Tudor period cottage feels like a step back in time. Sitting in Walsingham, this flint home has been gracefully restored and features manicured gardens, original features and charming contemporary furnishings. This home borders North Norfolk’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and provides easy access to Blakeney Nature Reserve and the sprawling sand dunes along the heritage coast. The exquisitely renovated interior is cosy and inviting. Original beamed ceilings, exposed brickwork and oak doors offer a characterful canvas primed for modern touches – we love the neutral hues and thoughtful light fixtures. The delightful country-house kitchen is the perfect spot for rustling up family feasts with the ingredients you picked up from the local farm shop, while the wooden dining table offers a lovely space for socialising over a bottle of locally-produced wine. The landscaped garden beckons you to feel completely immersed in your natural surroundings. After a restful night’s sleep in your luxurious and tranquil bedroom, step outside and enjoy your morning coffee to the sound of birdsong and the early sun on your face. When you’re not touring the wetlands or sighting seals on a seal trip through Blakeney Point, spend your days cosied up in the living room with a good book and a crackling fire or reclined in the patio chairs with a piece of coffee cake.

About The Norfolk Coast

Not only does the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty encompass some of the county’s most beautiful beaches, but its unique location hugging the shore has also given it an unusual range of landscapes.
