With its traditional brick and flint exterior and cosy atmosphere, this characterful cottage in the heart of Holt is the perfect getaway. We love all the cosy features inside – think squishy sofas rife for lounging, a gas-effect wood burner ideal for chilly nights and books and board games just the ticket for rainy days – and the small courtyard garden is the icing on the cake. Step outside and feel the Norfolk breeze as you share a cup of tea or glass of wine around the bistro table. Of course, with so many fantastic eateries on your doorstep, chances are you'll spend most evenings wining and dining around Holt. You're just moments from the centre of town, where 18th-century Georgian buildings play host to independent boutiques, pubs, art galleries and coffee shops. Norfolk's beautiful beaches aren't far, either – the closest is about four miles away – while North Norfolk Steam Railway, Holt Country Park and oodles of historic narrow streets will keep you busy closer to home.
