When it comes to seeing what lies beyond the home's boundaries, the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty starts at the end of the road and offers castles, beaches and walking routes aplenty. It also only takes just over ten minutes to reach Seahouses Harbour, from which you can catch a ferry to the Farne Islands.
