Situated in a spectacular rural location, approximately a mile from the centre of the charming Norfolk village of Holt and a little over ten minutes from the coast, this stunning traditional brick and flint building has been converted into a delightful home that's just perfect for a family getaway. Your hosts have retained many original features, including oak beams, vaulted ceilings and exposed interior flint walls. The high ceilings and many skylights ensure the entire home is flooded with light throughout the day, making the home feel even larger than it looks from the outside. A couple of sumptuous sofas provide a comfortable space for the group to gather together before sitting down for supper in the kitchen diner. Elsewhere, two sanctuary-like bedrooms sit on either side of a lavish bathroom – just make sure to unlock the door to the other room when you're done. On summer days, sit back and relax with a good book and a cup of tea in the enclosed garden before switching to wine when 5 o'clock rolls around. Alternatively, make the most of your fine fortune and head for the sea. The Blue Flag-awarded sandy stretch at Sheringham is a fantastic option approximately fifteen minutes away, while Cromer's imposing Victorian pier is just a few miles further east along the coast. Alternatively, choose to explore the natural beauty of the Norfolk Broads by boat, within an hour's drive of the home.
