With plenty of space for the whole family as well as your four-legged friend, this Victorian-period property in the seaside town of Southwold feels just like home, but with bells on. We love the light-filled, farmhouse-style kitchen as well as the cosy sitting room – perfect for unwinding after a day chasing the waves. There's also a beautiful snug – ideal for quiet time with a good book or for those needing to catch up on a little work – not to mention a gorgeous garden. You’ll find this home has something for everyone. And then of course there's the summer house, barbecue and ping-pong table it’s got hiding up its sleeve. In the warmer months, you’ll love soaking up the rays in the summer house, taking tea in the garden and dining alfresco en famille, while at chillier times of year nothing could be toastier than putting your feet up in front of the wood-burning stove. Nestled at the heart of Southwold, only a five-minute walk from both the hustle and bustle of the high street and the sandy shores of the beach, you’ll be well placed to explore all that this charming coastal town has to offer on foot. Mooch around the marketplace, get in on some fish and chips or wander down to the harbour, before passing by the pier and the pastel-coloured beach huts. Whatever you do, don’t forget to look in on the lighthouse.
