A former stable that's been brought right into the 21st Century as a smart, comfortable one-bedroom retreat, this place is small in footprint but big in heart. With stunning views and a peaceful, rural setting, it's a great base for exploring North Wales with the coast just a five-mile drive and places like Snowdonia National Park, Ruthin, Caernarfon and even Chester within easy reach. Sitting pretty in a farmyard, the building is made from local stone, slate and wood, with plenty of character and even an old bathtub used as a planter by the front door. Meanwhile, the inside is sleek and modern, with an open layout, tiled floors and neutral shades of cream and white. There's a practical eat-in kitchen, with a table for two, a comfy leather sofa and a game of table football on the ground floor (should you fancy an after-dinner game), while the first floor, with its beams and vaulted ceiling, is split into a large, luxurious bedroom and the kind of stunning bathroom that wouldn't look out of place in a boutique hotel. With a patio area and your own garden, you'll have outside space to enjoy when the weather's fine and there are loads of walks and cycle routes practically from your door.
