This stone barn conversion in Machynlleth is bursting with rural charm. Not only is the home surrounded by sprawling hills and a peaceful nature reserve, but it's also packed with amenities for you and your loved ones to enjoy. Recently renovated, this home's interior balances contemporary and authenticity – with a sleek kitchen, elegant bedrooms and tiled bathrooms sitting beneath original wooden ceiling beams and alongside rugged stonework. Whether you're tucked up in the armchairs underneath a fur throw with your new book or curling up for a family film night, this home is the definition of cosy – especially when you throw a log or two on the wood-burning fire. We think kids will be happy here, too – with a games room complete with a pool table, kids and adults alike will enjoy afternoons here. At mealtimes, come together around the dining table for a home-cooked feast though, in the summer, we expect you’ll be firing up the barbecue and dining alfresco on the patio. Outside, there's a private garden with seating and views of rolling hills and an additional courtyard to the back that's shared with neighbours – the kids will love the play area too. If admiring your countryside vistas from your glass-walled home is what inspires you to explore this area of Mid Wales, you're well-placed for bird-spotting and rambling, and why not top the day off with a local pub dinner – Machynlleth town centre is a fifteen-minute drive.
