With mesmerising lakes, an abundance of wildlife, and countless hiking trails, there's nothing quite like a rural retreat in the Lake District. And in this house, you get to experience this region's natural surroundings on your doorstep. The home is modern in design, with comforting and inviting touches. It's an idyllic setting for a group of friends or family to enjoy a relaxing countryside getaway. Step inside to be welcomed by the bright open-plan living space, with plenty of room to kick back and unwind on the plump sofas in front of the crackling fire or enjoy family favourites at the large dining table. We love how the expansive windows invite the light in here, so regardless of the day’s temperature, you can enjoy the garden views. The sleek and contemporary kitchen will make whipping up those feasts a breeze, whilst on summer days, head to the patio for dinners overlooking the surrounding greenery. If you love the great outdoors, there are few places to appreciate its wildness and beauty than the Lake District. There are endless walking and cycling trails, and you're just a short distance from Elter Water and Grasmere. After a long day of exploring, nothing tastes... quite as good as a comforting pub dinner. Luckily, you're just a short from your local in the quiet village of Chapel Stile, where you can enjoy dinner overlooking the River Brathway.

About The Lake District
Poets and novelists have often escaped to the Lake District for a spot of inspiration. Famously, Wordsworth pondered about daffodils and clouds during his time here. The undulating hills are tracked with drystone walls while sheep graze, and farmsteads enjoy untouched beauty for miles around. England’s biggest lake, Windermere, cuts through a valley, sleek as glass and hosts a litany of cosy-pub-filled towns and water sports venues along its shores....
