Hidden away in the Cumbrian countryside, this gorgeous house is a truly special spot. Whether you're planning to explore the Lake District or simply crave some peace and quiet, it's the perfect place to call home during your visit to this wildly romantic region. The house is surrounded by sprawling mature gardens, complete with its very own stream, summerhouse, and even a waterfall. Little and big kids alike will love wandering the grounds, before coming inside to warm up beside the fire. If you need some me-time then run a bubble bath and treat yourself to a long, luxurious soak – or, head to the games room for some fun. When you've worked up an appetite, you can cook up a traditional roast dinner to serve in the conservatory, with huge windows that bring the outside in. From here, you can take a short drive over to Lake Windermere – book a boat trip, or stay on dry land and take a stroll around the water's edge. Adventurous guests will be in their element, with countless mountain trails to choose from for hiking and biking. And, after a busy day in the wilderness, you can head to the local pub for a pint – it's within walking distance of your front door.
