For a quintessentially British seaside break, head to this charming family home in the heart of estuary village of Fowey. Drop off your bags, grab your hat and sunglasses, and make haste to Fowey Harbour or Readymoney Cove, both just a twenty-minute stroll from your doorstep. Elsewhere, fans of Daphne du Maurier will enjoy a trip to the Literary Centre where exhibits about the author and her work are on display, a fifteen-minute walk away. Back home, it's an elegant yet cosy design, with velvet sofas, an electric fireplace and licks of royal blue and yellow making up the comfy and seamlessly modern living room. Start your mornings with a cooked breakfast at the marble dining table, or better still, fling open the bi-folding doors and soak up the warm sunshine in the garden and decking area – there's a charcoal barbecue and a firepit for those magical evenings spent together at home.
