This cosy cottage on the outskirts of the village of Fryup at the heart of the North York Moors National Park, boasts a large living space, a multipurpose kitchen-dining-games room with wood burning stove, barbecue area, enclosed garden and unbeatable countryside views. Perfect for a family get together or long overdue catch up with friends, this stone-built sanctuary truly is a home for all seasons. In the summer you’ll love spending time in the garden, barbecuing to your heart’s content and admiring your sun-soaked surroundings. At chillier times of the year, you’ll lovingly prepare old family favourites in the fully equipped kitchen while the kids play pool before sitting down for dinner and enjoying the warmth of the wood burning stove. In the evening you’ll all want to pile onto the supersized sofa for chill out time. Host a games or movie night or simply enjoying gazing out at the magnificent moorlands. With some of the country’s most beautiful walks and cycling routes on your doorstep, you’ll be spoilt for choice deciding how to spend your down time. Stride out onto Fryup Dale or explore the nearby North York Moors villages of Danby, Castleton, Rosedale Abbey and Lealholm. Venture a... little further afield and you’ll reach the market town of Pickering and the historic seaside town of Whitby. Whatever you do make sure you make a pit stop for some well-earned fish and chips.
