From the outside, this period home is as pretty as a picture, and inside, things only get better. Every corner of the cottage feels restful and considered. Sophisticated warm neutrals keep everything oh-so-classy, while houseplants and botanical print textiles bring pops of colour and a flash of modernity. With a wood-burning stove to hunker down beside and storybook armchairs and window seats for afternoon lolls with the papers, it’s a delightful place to be, whatever the weather brings. But on fine days, it’s outside chasing the sun between the front and rear garden terraces where you’ll want to be.
