Steeped in bucolic charm, this stone brick cottage is a wonderful choice for a couple looking for a country escape. Surrounded by the beautiful Ingram Valley, this secluded home is located on a working sheep farm of nearly two thousand acres. If you're looking for peace and tranquillity, you've found it. Despite its beautifully wild surroundings, the interior of this home is bright and cheerful. We love the cosy living space, complete with soft throws and a warming log fire. From your window, you catch a glimpse of the wide-spanning view of the valley, but it's even better when you step outside. Mornings here are particularly lovely – be sure to catch the early morning glow while you sip on a nice hot coffee. After exploring the area by bike or foot, the nearby Linhope Spout is a particularly beautiful spot, nothing beats enjoying a glass of wine while the fireplace warms you from the inside out. Your kitchen is perfectly equipped to whip up something delicious, or if you don't fancy cooking, the town of Wooler has a good selection of restaurants and pubs – it's around a twenty-minute drive away.

About The Northumberland Coast

Right at the top of England, Northumberland’s great expanse is dotted with medieval strongholds that have seen many a bloody battle. A landscape rich with history, you can explore the crumbling ruins of clifftop castles or tour restored and retained masterpieces at Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick Castle. Fishing villages punctuate the sweeps of undiscovered beaches along the coastline. Tangles of lobster pots sit on old stone harbours while boats trundle...
