The charming market town of Beccles sits right on the Norfolk Broads. From here, you can hire a boat and putter along the River Waveney to spot wading birds and wildlife galore in this protected region. The town itself is crammed with shops, pubs and cafés, all within easy walking distance of this cute little cottage. Stepping straight into the living room, you’ll notice a wood-burning stove shared between the kitchen and lounge. Once this is roaring, you’ve got a cosy spot for meals in and evenings on the sofa. A glowing faux coal fire adds to the effect. A tufted, winged armchair adds a touch of class and, in keeping with the country aesthetic, timber supports beams are on display. Through the full kitchen, you’ve got a back door leading to a courtyard garden where flowers bloom and there’s bistro seating for two on the patio.
