Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
In the vibrant Martim Moniz district of the city, the buzz of restaurants, bars, cafés, and shops is truly tangible. In around fifteen minutes on foot, you’ll be in the historic elegance of Chiado. Or in the other direction, the steep hills of Graça just nearby are ready to take you up to some of Lisbon’s best viewpoints. However, we think you might be satisfied enough with the viewpoint from your own home. This apartment sits on the fourth floor of a traditional Portuguese block. With sloped walls in the open-plan living space, it has a loft-like feel with a penthouse look. Modern and understated, the furniture has a Scandi edge to it. Dine on Eames-style chairs before padding across the wooden floors to a comfy L-shaped sofa. You might think the decor sounds rather zen and subdued – but there’s a reason for this. Your views are absolutely spectacular. The host has cleverly kept the interiors to a minimal look in order for the true main attraction to stand out. You can see the Castelo de São Jorge, the hills of Alfama, and the striking display of colourful architecture across the city. You’ll be glued to the windows and balconettes –... preferably with a glass of vinho verde in hand.
