Some holidays are all about cramming in as many activities as you can manage, and rushing around in a crowd. Not here. This delightful holiday home can be found on the edge of a farm that’s been here since the 17th century. Staying here gives you the chance to live slowly, and to relax and unwind. The cabin is warm and welcoming, adorned with flowers from the farm, and boasting enough windows to flood the space with light. You’ll wake up each morning in the huge bed feeling rested, having enjoyed the kind of deep sleep you only get in the countryside. After a breakfast of fresh eggs, you’ll be ready to explore the area – and there’s plenty to explore. Charmouth Beach is ten minutes away by car and is the perfect place for a paddle. Hunt for fossils and skim stones, marvelling that this little haven is in the UK. The farm is only five miles inland from the sea, tucked away in between Dorset and Devon’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty – keen walkers will be in heaven. After a long day of hiking and paddling, it’s a real treat to watch the sun begin to set...
