Unpack your bags and settle into the island's relaxed pace at this charming two-bedroom home. Located on the outskirts of Alcúdia's Unesco-recognised Old Town, step off the historic streets to be greeted by an irresistible blend of bare stonework, exposed beams and a private rooftop terrace where you can soak up the sun in pure seclusion. On the ground floor, the living room, dining area and well-equipped kitchen sit separately from each other. However, there's an uninterrupted flow to the layout which means you feel connected with other members of your group even if you're not all sat in the same room. Clamber up the exterior stairs and you'll find yourself on a sun-soaked terrace equipped with a dining area and barbecue. In contrast, the interior stairs lead you up to two gorgeous individually decorated bedrooms, with the addition of a private rooftop decked out with sun loungers and a refreshing outdoor shower that's perfect for cooling off if the heat of the day proves too much. Prefer to top up your tan at the beach? The good news is that the white sand and crystal-clear waters of Platja Es Morer Vermell are reachable on foot. However, if you prefer your stretches of sand a little more secluded, then we'd suggest jumping in the car and driving around the bay to Cala Formentor.
