Built by a nobleman of Orléans in the 19th century, this grand chateau is totally ensconced in nature, with ponds on one side and woods on the other. The owners have converted one wing of the chateau into a cosy retreat for friends and families. You’ll have your own living room as well as a farmhouse-style kitchen. There are sumptuous communal spaces, including a palatial living room dotted with leather chairs and sofas, and a dining area with a coffee station. The terrace boasts beautiful views of the surrounding parkland, and there’s plenty of outdoor furniture so you can relax outside with a book on sunny days. Spend your days walking through the woodland, or take a picnic to one of the nearby ponds. The picturesque city of Orléans is a fifty-minute drive away, where you can wander the history-soaked streets and admire the many tributes to Joan of Arc. There are a handful of traditional French villages within a ten-minute drive, where you’ll find supermarkets, local restaurants and cafes. The chateau can also be rented as a whole and can sleep up to 35 people. With its Art Deco and medieval-style rooms, it's the perfect place for a... unique family event or a retreat.
