In our opinion, a trip to Corsica is always a good idea. The scenery is exquisite, the food a marvel, and the beaches are something from a dream. We love this pretty stone house in the seaside resort of Moriani Plage – it’s a splendid base for a family or a group of friends. The house is simple and bright, with a neutral colour scheme that lends itself to relaxation. There’s plenty of room for everyone to gather together, whether it’s around the piano in the living room or in the dining room. When the sun is shining, you’ll want to be outside to enjoy every last second of it. Happily, there’s a wonderful garden here. Little ones will love playing on the lawn, while grown-ups might prefer sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine. There’s a hammock to doze in, and a barbecue for alfresco meals – we’d be buying some fresh seafood for sure. This home is in a quiet residential area so you’ll really be able to relax and unwind. That’s not to say that it’s a sleepy spot though – Padullela Park is across from the house, with its tennis courts and play area. Moriani Beach is a seven-minute walk from the house, and you can stroll for a gelato a couple of minutes away. If you feel like being a bit more active, you might try your hand at jet skiing or sailing. Hikers will love exploring the Costa Verde trails. There’s something for everyone here.
