Housed in the Palazzo Grimaldi in Genoa’s historic centre, this elegant apartment is a step back in time to Old World Italian romance. Adorned with frescoed ceilings, eye-catching chandeliers and a collection of art that could rival a small gallery’s, this apartment feels immediately special from the moment you walk through the door. Wander around the grand double living area, taking your time to peruse the many paintings on the walls. Settle yourself on one of the plump sofas with a glass of wine and one of the books on offer, or gather around the dining table for an at-home feast when you’re not out sampling the local restaurants. Of the bedrooms, the main one is certainly the most sumptuous with its respective art collection and ornate bed, while the other two wear their pared-back simplicity in equally fashionable style. With a gorgeous tub to boot in which to while away an hour or two after a busy day of sightseeing, you’ve got everything you need for a pampered stay. Outside of your home, you’ll find countless shops and restaurants waiting to give you a taste of local Ligurian life, while the bustling Porto Antico and its many attractions are... a short walk away. You’re also within easy reach of the palazzo-lined Via Garibaldi, as well as the Palazzo Spinola National Gallery and Piazza De Ferrari.
