Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
A recent addition to the Cardiff Bay area, this apartment overlooks the River Ely and has a pleasingly large balcony on which to sit with your morning coffee and make the most of this peaceful setting. This space is covered so you can still head outside if the clouds open at any point, but if it proves too cold, the floor-to-ceiling glass doors in the living space mean that this watery vista can be enjoyed inside, too. When you eventually turn your attention to the home itself, you'll find an interior that feels contemporary, but unshowy about it – smart wooden floors and muted grey walls are a simple but elegant combo, while the blue kitchen has been designed with a minimalist approach in mind. When it comes to things to do and see in the local area, the International Sports Village is ten minutes' walk around the corner and has a huge range of high-quality facilities, including an ice rink, swimming pool and white water rafting course. For something a little less hi-octane, the Cardiff Bay Trail can be reached nearby and takes walkers through parks and the wetland reserve.

About Cardiff
Wales’ capital is a cracking mix of something old and something new. There’s an ancient castle right in the centre, with 2000 years’ worth of history to walk around. There’s a modern waterfront ‘down the bay’, where you can watch opera or ballet at the gleaming Wales Millenium Centre, tour the eco-friendly Senedd (Welsh Parliament) building or take a thrilling rib ride. There are beautifully preserved Victorian arcades to explore,...
