Surrounded by centuries-old olive groves, this home in Puglia offers a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of daily life, starting the moment you drive up through the gates. Though modern, there is a feeling of tradition that instantly makes this feel homely. Feel the terracotta tiles beneath the soles of your feet as you head into the kitchen first thing in the morning. Make headway on breakfast while the coffee percolates and once it’s all ready, carry everything out onto the covered terrace. Delight in an alfresco breakfast as you bask in the tranquillity on offer here, and stay out there far longer, planning the day ahead. If those plans involve doing very little – as they should – you’ll have no shortage of outdoor seating options.
