This gorgeous holiday villa exudes a traditional French country charm with a unique modern twist. Open-feeling interior spaces, many of which offer direct access to the garden and are filled with light, create a calm and peaceful place to relax before or after checking out the many things on offer here in Ile de Ré, while splashes of bright primary colours lend the home its own distinctive character. The exterior of the property is unmistakably French, with its clean swash of neutral beige, terracotta roof tiles, and cheerfully bright painted shutters shading typical paneled windows. Having brewed a cup of coffee and warmed some pastries in the oven of the well-equipped modern kitchen, swing open the double French doors to the beautiful garden, where you will find a dining area on a rustically-paved patio nestled among evergreen and blooming plants, to enjoy it. The rest of the day can then be spent either reclining on the comfortable sun loungers in that lovely garden, taking advantage of the range of watersports available on the coast, or discovering the unspoilt natural beauty of the salt marshes and wetland of the incredible Lilleau des Niges Nature Reserve. Accessible by means of a 3-kilometre-long... toll bridge from the French mainland, there is a range of activities on offer at the nearest beach, including sailing kayaking, and windsurfing and just south of the town you will find a 9-hole golf course, so enthusiasts of the sport won't have far to go to tee-off
