You’re set for a splendid stay at this stunning villa, based in a peaceful and rural spot in the charming village of Skouloufia in Crete, just a short drive away from Rethymno. This coastal town is popular with travellers for its picturesque harbour and quaint old streets, filled with welcoming restaurants and bars – and of course, its gorgeous beach, with bright white sand, clear turquoise sea and dramatic rocky outcrops. This home makes a wonderful retreat to return to after lovely days spent exploring vibrant Rethymno. The outdoor area features plenty of spots to sit and soak up the sunshine, while you enjoy the views over the leafy landscape that surrounds you, and out to the sea in the distance. Comfy poolside loungers invite you to relax in the heat, the private pool is great for a refreshing swim, and the alfresco dining area is fabulous for sipping on sundowners on warm summer evenings. Inside, the living area is decorated in a funky orange colour scheme – the trendy corner sofa is a great place for your afternoon nap, while the colourful dining area makes a great feasting spot.
