Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Lying close to the north Devon coastline, this period home has everything you'd hope for from a grand country pile – an elegant Regency-era facade, high-ceilinged and lavishly furnished rooms, and well-kept gardens ideal for a daily constitutional. However, there are a few more modern features that aren't in keeping with this historic aesthetic but are no less welcome. We're talking about the hot tub out in the garden, as well as the private pub – The Frog and Pheasant – which has both a bar and games room to keep guests entertained. Given that there are one-and-a-half acres of grounds, you're well and truly set during the warmer months, whether you want to play lawn games, light up the barbecue or simply find a quiet spot to get stuck into your holiday read. As well as that, there's a golf course all of 750 metres from the home, plus the town of Barnstaple only 3 kilometres away. A little further away in the car, there's a wealth of beaches and coastal walking routes at your disposal, too.

Host
This home is managed by Oliver
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
