In the quaint village of Amorosa, this home offers an authentic Portuguese experience from the moment you arrive at the front door. Showcasing signature Mediterranean style, this luxurious villa is a treasure trove of original features, from antique floor tiles to the signature Calcada paving stones outside. There’s plenty of room for the whole family here, thanks to converted barns which house four of the villa’s six bedrooms. The heart of the home, however, has to be the courtyard. Try your hand at cooking some local dishes in the contemporary outdoor kitchen, which boasts a barbecue grill, sink, fridge and dishwasher, plus bar seating perfect for preparing meals together. Of course, you’ll want to enjoy your food alfresco - take a seat under the pergola and pour a glass of wine before you dig in to get the full dining experience. After dinner, why not head to the ping pong table or dartboard to round off the night? Whilst this home has everything you need to relax and unwind the Portuguese way, it’s certainly worth venturing into Faro for the day to wander among the historic sights and landmarks.
