Sitting in the middle of California's Wine Country, you might picture homes here to lie on the rustic side of things, but that couldn't be further from the truth at this address. Behind the sliding glass doors, guests will find an interior that is exquisitely put together – whitewashed walls are adorned with tasteful artwork, the furnishings hark back to mid-century trends, and the glossy bathrooms wouldn't look out of place in a spa. Our favourite part, however, has to be the long kitchen, finished with the sort of sleek surfaces in which you can see your own reflection. If you're paying a visit during the warmer months, you're sure to fall for the home's plant-filled outdoor space, which, while modestly sized, offers plenty of seating on which to toast the sunset with a bottle bought from a local winery. There's even a barbecue if you want to pair it with some smoky flavours. In local Healdsburg, you're only two blocks from the downtown area and its restaurants. The wider area is not just reserved for growing grapes, either – there are opportunities to be found for everything from hiking to biking and golfing to watersports.
