Perched on a private ridge, we invite you to take a lungful of some of the purest air in mainland USA and step inside this charming single-storey home, which enjoys spectacular views over its 14-acre vineyard and the pristine waters of Clear Lake. Everything about this elegantly designed building aims to accentuate the natural beauty on the doorstep. A wall of clear glass panes slides back to reveal a front-row set of six Adirondack seats where you can sit and take in the vista. This expansive wooden deck also includes an outdoor dining table and is bookended by an inviting infinity pool at one end and a Jacuzzi at the other – perfect for cooling daytime dips or sundowner soaks. The effortless flow between the exterior and interior continues throughout the home, with a vast multipurpose space forming the nucleus around which all things entertainment, socialisation and food-related rotate. We can easily imagine an early start for a challenging hike along the trails that crisscross the nearby countryside, or a paddleboarding session out on the water, before returning home for a relaxing day by the pool with a glass of cab sav in hand, only getting up to top up your glass... and grab snacks the kitchen.
