Take in the charming views over the rooftops of Whitby from this cosy apartment. We love the characterful old beams here and the zen-like feeling of the bedroom with its Buddha pictures. There's a handy dressing table, which can also double up as a great workspace. Outside, a shared front terrace with a bench is ideal for watching the world go by. Situated on the west side of Whitby, you'll discover cosy pubs, fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants. The lovely blue flag West Cliff Beach is lined with colourful beach huts and is easily reached. Or walk over the swing bridge over the River Esk to the east side of town, where you'll discover narrow medieval streets dotted with boutiques, a short walk from the front door. Other attractions include the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary and the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey.
