This modern, sleek home sits in the east side of Whitby. It takes just ten minutes to walk into the town centre, along the narrow medieval streets lined with quirky boutiques, cosy pubs, and fish and chip shops. You might stroll over the swing bridge over the River Esk to reach popular West Cliff Beach and its colourful beach huts. There’s so much to discover in wonderful Whitby, and it’s all within easy reach from this family home. We love how crisp and clean this home is – it makes for an excellent base for friends or family. You might begin your day seated around the glass-topped table, tucking into a hearty breakfast. When you’re all set up for the day, perhaps you’ll tackle the 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary – it takes sixteen minutes to reach the bottom of the steps. Later on, explore the ruins of Whitby Abbey, before returning home with a wrapped parcel of fish and chips. Spend your evening curled up on the sofa, watching movies or playing board games.

About Whitby

Famously the setting of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, there’s something hauntingly beautiful about Whitby. The ruins of Whitby Abbey, set atop a windy hill overlooking the town, are just like a scene from a gothic novel. When the sun sets, ghost tours amble through the cobbled streets, revealing the town’s dramatic history. By day it’s all idyllic fishing village vibes, with a hint of Victorian holidays.
