Sitting just across the road from Whitby’s West Cliff beach, it’s merely a hop, skip and a jump from home to feel the sand between your toes. Ideal for a couple looking for a coastal getaway, this home oozes modern elegance. Neutral decor and a white, high-gloss kitchen provide a very tranquil atmosphere, with pops of yellow and green peppered here and there to remind you of your proximity to the beach. Returning here in the evenings, with typical beach-tousled hair and the smell of salt on your skin, you can step into your rainfall shower and wash the day away before sinking into your sofa with a cup of hot chocolate. With relaxation washing over you as easily as if it was being brought by the sea itself, head to your comfortable bed with its cute wicker headboard and you’ll soon find yourself in a deep, dreamy sleep. Pop on your coffee machine in the morning and you’ll soon be fuelled and ready to face the day. A bracing stroll along the promenade is a refreshing way to fully wake up before making a decision – coast or country?
