With an absolutely breathtaking view of the Tyrrhenian Sea, this ancient villa couldn’t really be more of a complete package if it tried. Not only does waking up to the panoramic horizon inspire a great sense of relaxation, but the villa itself is pretty with its curving arches and many textures. Given its age, the home has seen its share of modernisation, but it has always been done in the most loving and sympathetic way to retain the original charm, and that character is certainly still visible. Picture yourself tucked away on the sofa with a good book, or at the dining table – with the doors flung open – as you catch up on the news with your morning cuppa. The only thing better than unwinding inside the home would be doing so outside. With plenty of space to sit, or sprawl out on the sunloungers, if you’d like, you can make yourself comfortable as you admire the glittering blue on the horizon. Take a dip in the plunge pool, dine alfresco, and watch the sunset with an evening cocktail. As two bedrooms can only be accessed via the garden, it sets large groups up perfectly so you can retain a sense of privacy but come together in the beautiful, and ample, breakout spaces. Walk to Marina di Praia beach, explore the beautiful Praiano, and dine out at any of the nearby restaurants when you’re not in the mood to cook.
