This villa is tucked in the hills of a tiny village in the Chania region of Crete. The view here is spectacular: the snow capped mountains frame the sky on one side, with the ocean stretching out on the other. Built in 1900, the villa is newly renovated to seamlessly blend modern touches with original features. Olive trees and native plant life are dotted through the gardens, which lead down to a spectacular infinity pool. On sunny days there are plenty of places to relax. Head up to the vast terrace to relax with a book and enjoy the view, or settle down on a deck chair by the pool to catch some rays. Come lunch time, fire up the barbecue and enjoy flame grilled delights at the sun-dappled alfresco dining table. Light woods and a natural colour palette characterise the interiors, creating a chic, relaxing space. Sliding glass doors lead out from the main bedroom onto a balcony with unbeatable vistas of the mountains beyond. The supermarket is 4.5 kilometres away, where you can pick up food and drink. Or if you prefer, drive 3 kilometres to the local Cretan taverna for a lively Greek dinner. For a day... by the sea, the pristine beaches of Chania are 8 kilometres away.
