This beautiful villa in Frangokástello couldn’t get much closer to the ocean if it tried. Nestled happily on the coastline of southern Crete, it boasts stunning picture-postcard vistas from practically every vantage point and with the Libyan sea so close, from the moment you arrive you can feel calmness and complete tranquillity wash over you. Inside, the home is clean and contemporary. The bathrooms are akin to what you’d find in a spa, with the en-suite to the main bedroom situated in the room itself. We love the modern kitchen, complete with a waterfall island for a little touch of luxury. This is just the spot for loved ones to gather with a glass of wine, while the nominated cook for the evening shows off their culinary skills in the kitchen. Step onto the terrace and your eyes can’t help but be drawn to the view – it’s mesmerising. In the mornings, picture yourself with a warming cup of coffee, settled on the sun lounger as the Greek rays warm your skin, just listening to the gentle roll of the waves. There aren’t many more peaceful ways to start your day.
