Perched on a hillside in northern Crete, in the culture-rich village of Agia Triada, this contemporary villa provides a secluded sanctuary from which to explore the sandy beaches and historic sites of the region. Visit the Old Town and admire the Venetian fortress and harbour, then wander the narrow streets before hitting one of the waterfront restaurants. If nature’s more your thing, there are plenty of soft sandy beaches in Rethymno to discover, the most famous being Preveli – beloved for its crystal clear waters and exotic aesthetic. After a day of soaking up the local sights, head home to cool off in the outdoor shower, or enjoy a relaxing swim in the private pool. Create some friendly competition with a game of ping pong - the lawn offers plenty of room for outdoor games (speaking of which, there’s even a children’s playground). Fire up the barbecue for dinner and enjoy Greek delicacies around the outdoor dining table. Post-dinner, take a bottle of wine up to the balcony to admire the views, which stretch from the olive groves all the way to the coastline.
