Right on the banks of the River Tiber, and just a four-minute walk from the spectacular Piazza del Popolo, this effortlessly chic apartment comes with heaps of Italian passion and urban charm. Stepping inside, you'll find a sophisticated blend of neutral tones and heritage colour accents, along with playful adornments such as the classic hanging fedoras in the hallway. Usually, we wouldn't point to the scruff marks, but the minor knocks only add character to this authentic home. Lovingly decorated, the living space benefits from an array of tasteful artwork and antique furnishings, including a brown chesterfield sofa. Sit down in the refined ghost chairs for an elegant brunch below the high vaulted ceilings. All of the bedrooms are bright, airy and yet cute-as-a-button with exposed wood panelling and minimalist interiors. We particularly liked the front door too, with its ever-so-charming tiled walkway and billowing flower pots. Outside, you'll find many of Rome's most beloved sights within a short stroll. Pennies at the ready, as the angelic Trevi Fountain is under twenty minutes away, along with the historic Spanish Steps – from there the Piazza di Spagna is only eleven minutes from your door.

About Spagna

Spagna is, perhaps unsurprisingly, focussed around the eponymous Piazza di Spagna. Along with the Trevi fountain, it’s one of the most visited sights in the entire city. Things weren’t always so auspicious – in the 16th century, the area was Rome’s red light district, but today it’s better known for the vine-covered romance of Via Margutta, home to Gregory Peck's impoverished journalist in Roman Holiday. This is not the place...
