Spend endless summer days soaking in those breathtaking Mediterranean views from this stunning hillside home, perched on Mallorca's westernmost tip, close to the glamorous coastal town of Port d'Andratx. It faces west, so you're guaranteed some genuinely spectacular sights come sunset. Even without the panoramic vistas, the home's exterior is designed to make the most of the island's 300 days of sun each year. Lay out by the infinity-edge pool on a sun lounger, seek out a shaded spot to get lost in the pages of a good book, and tuck into mouthwatering homemade meals at any of several outdoor dining spots. The home's interior is as classic as they come, with exposed wooden beams, terracotta tiled floors and antique pieces. We particularly loved the bright and breezy living room with its open fire and the book-lined library on the first floor. In addition to three homely bedrooms in the central part of the home, there's a separate guesthouse on the grounds with an additional twin bedroom and kitchenette – ideal for a multi-generational family getaway. Mallorca is known for its spectacular scenery, so as tempting as it may be to stay put, you'd be missing out if you didn't explore a... little further. The unusual flat rock beach and trendy Gran Folies Beach Club are within walking distance, while nearby Port d'Andratx is lined with luxury yachts and some of the finest seafood establishments in the Med. Alternatively, head to the island's cosmopolitan capital of Palma and explore its atmospheric old town on foot.
