Right on the River Thames in Windsor, this modern riverfront lodge is the perfect place to enjoy the Great British outdoors. Set across a single floor, this is lateral living at its finest. The open living space is bathed in natural light, and complete with smooth wooden floors and a sleek kitchen. Glass balcony doors extend the width of the house, and are fully retractable, meaning the kitchen and dining area flow seamlessly out onto the deck. On sunny days, enjoy meals alfresco, admiring the view of the marina as you eat. If you’d like to rent or bring a boat, mooring can be arranged for an additional fee with the Windsor Racecourse Marina. Whether by river or on foot, there’s plenty to do and see in the area. Book a tour of Windsor Castle, home to the Royal Family, to see the grand rooms and beautiful grounds, before stopping for lunch at one of the excellent restaurants in town. Or spend a day at the races – the famous Ascot Racecourse is a fifteen-minute drive away.
