One of the many barn conversions peppered across the British countryside, this home is a fine example of the great sense of space and light that's typical of the very best of these former agricultural buildings. Behind the front door, you'll find no clue as to the property's prior life – only stark white walls, shiny wooden floors and a super-sleek kitchen complete with a huge island that would happily slot into the most contemporary of city apartments. When it comes to keeping guests entertained, the pool table will help rainy afternoons fly by, while the large patio with a barbecue and trampoline will come in handy when the sun makes an appearance. You can even hire a hot tub if you're feeling especially decadent. If you're lucky with the forecast, there are plenty of riverside walking routes in the local area and the historic town of Windsor with its famous castle is only ten minutes away in the car, too.
