This minimalist apartment offers a place to retreat above the hubbub below. Anise & Liquorice has an interesting combination of antiques, contemporary furniture and modern touches, with the clean, white walls tying the design together with understated elegance. We particularly love the parquet wooden flooring and the fun pops of colour seen through the home, but the best feature resides up on the rooftop. You'll have access to the plush lounge area adorned with umbrellas to keep you shaded and stunning views out onto the ancient architecture below. Order a drink and debrief on your day's adventures before freshening up and heading out again for a feast of local Italian cuisine at one of the nearby restaurants of Piazza Navona, just a short five-minute walk away. You'll also be in the heart of the action when it comes to shopping the local boutiques and visiting Rome's most iconic monuments and museums – the impressive Castel Sant'Angelo is just fifteen minutes walking distance away from your front door.
